Intercon Dance-Diner opens at Stonebow
Intercon's new dance-diner opens at Stonebow House, York on the ground floor above the Bavarian bier keller which the company started at the end of October 1972,
The dance-diner, which provides, music, dancing, drinks, food, colour and excitement is a continental development of the discotheque and is already drawing in youngsters in a big way in Harrogate, Ilkley, and Wakefield in the West Riding (Yorkshire).
The York dance-diner follows a successful pattern of the ones Intercon's has opened in these other towns. It has a long beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks bar, intimate strobe projected blue red and orange lighting, very plush carpeting and leather hexagonal seating, disc jockeys on circuit for music and two railed off dance floors.
